This is Duke, a 4 1/2 year old Jack Russell that was rescued from kennels. Duke likes to bark, he also suffers with anxiety which manifests itself by repeatedly spinning at the back doorstep, jumping and running lengths of the garden spinning at each end. This, I believe, is an unfortunate legacy of his time in kennels, negative learned behaviour brought on by stress and boredom. Today DBM set to work with Kevin, his owner, to start the process of breaking this cycle and replacing the behaviour with positive energy. This is not a quick fix and the process will take time and patience on his owners part, however a positive programme was laid out for Duke to follow and I’m sure that with Kevin’s help we will soon have little Duke back on the right track. So a big DBM well done to all involved today, keep up the good work.
