This beautiful girl is Rosie, a 2 year old Cocker Spaniel. Rosie can be a little dog reactive at times, so today DBM sat down with Claire and Brian, her owners, to address the problem. We went right through environment and relationship issues, we worked on front door protocols and basic micro training and we discussed the correct toys and their importance to Rosie’s programme. Then it was off to the park with Rosie for some practical application. We encountered several dogs on our walk, some Rosie paid no attention to, others Rosie showed signs of being reactive, however using DBM lead techniques and strategies we soon managed to calm Rosie down, and I feel that with Brian and Claire’s new found knowledge and guidance things will soon settle down for Rosie. So a big DBM well done to all involved today, keep up the good work.

Claire very kindly reviewed later on…
Malcolm was very helpful and explained techniques and reasons behind them very well.He gave us lots of tips and training methods to use in the home and out on walks. Helped us to understand where we were going wrong, how our dog thinks and gave us ongoing excecises to use with her. Lots of general advise too about lead type, treats, toys etc. We have noticed a marked improvement in just one day although we know it’s a long term training progress and doesn’t happen overnight. Would definitely recommend Malcolm.
